Happy Friday! Time to share my second Friday Favorites with you guys. I'm going to start this post off with a quote from the book I am currently reading, that I quoted from last week as well.
I wanted to share some fashion inspiration that I have been into as of late. I've noticed my current style leanings are a mix of basics, blacks and neutrals, and sort of a business casual kind of feel. I love saving fashion inspiration on Pinterest, picking out pieces I want to add to my closet, and putting looks together. It is definitely my number resource for inspiration. Check out my Pinterest for some more fashion inspo!
I'm noticing a trend of carb love. Last weeks post included a recipe for Adventure Bread and this week I'm sharing more carbs with some yummy vegan and gluten free banana bread as well as super simple homemade coconut yogurt, both from Minimalist Baker. Dana from Minimalist Baker is my all time favorite food inspiration. She has so many delicious vegan recipes, I love it! Definitely check out her website if you haven't yet. Just because I'm vegan doesn't mean I can't enjoy some yummy sweet treat sometimes that are still healthy mind you. I subbed out the nutella in my banana bread and added chopped pecans instead. It turned out super delish!
This is the first time I have ever attempted to make my own yogurt. Being vegan I definitely have missed eating yogurt, especially Siggi's (my favorite brand for sure). So I took a swing at her recipe and I was so surprised at how well it turned out! Only two ingredients! It does take some activation time of up to 48 hrs but it is well worth it. So tangy and yummy!
